Three pillars that every advanced training programme rests on, and every reliable dog in everyday life.
Following our fully booked July workshop, we are opening another intensive training block. This time we move away from addressing specific behaviour patterns and towards the foundations of effective work with a dog, to the key pillars that support any advanced training as well as reliable control outside the training field.
These three pillars produce functional obedience: the ability to transfer exercises from an enclosed training area into the real world with all its distractions, and to rely on your dog’s response even where it has something more interesting on offer.
We do not work with templates, we work with principles. Our training draws on a coherent methodical system and on a detailed analysis of every handler and dog, so that the procedures match your dog’s current level and disposition. At every step you will know why you are taking it. A template works as long as the dog matches the average. A principle works every time.
The workshop is designed for anyone who does not want to rely on trial and error and is looking for a clearly structured methodology. It is for you if:
Instead of trying out isolated tricks, you will gain a coherent system for working with motivation, states of mind and focus. If you expect expertise and a sound justification for every step, you will find precise tools for your further work here.
You will not leave with a perfect dog. You will leave with a system that helps you understand what your dog needs at any given moment, and why.
The floodplain forests of the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area and the facilities of Lovecká chata create an environment where training takes place in real conditions rather than on a sterile training field.

Every training session is run individually, tailored to the needs of the particular dog. For that reason, no two dogs work on the field at the same time. We bring in another dog only where the problem being addressed genuinely requires it.
We also recommend that participants stay on the field without their own dog while they are not training themselves, and watch the other teams work. Watching someone else’s session is where you learn the most. You will see dogs of different temperaments, the mistakes that typically occur and the specific ways of solving them, all of which will serve you in your own training.
Your registration becomes binding once a deposit of €65 has been paid.
The deposit is non-refundable. It is, however, fully transferable to another participant, whom you arrange yourself should you be unable to attend. Please pay the deposit only after you receive an e-mail from us confirming that a place is available.
Please state in your registration whether you would like accommodation.
Payments are made in Czech crowns. If you send the payment from a euro account, the amount credited to our account depends on the exchange rate applied by your bank on the day of the transfer, so it may differ slightly from the indicative euro figures above.
