Spring Poniklá: Precision, Clarity, and Passion in Dog Training

Events | přidáno 21. 3. 2026

“In NePoPo®, dogs don’t fight the system because they always find an advantage for themselves. We teach them to believe in their own ability to influence the world – and that’s when they start working with heart and soul.” — Bart Bellon

The days are lengthening, bringing with them a new opportunity to push the boundaries of mutual cooperation. From April 24th to 26th, we return to the heart of the Giant Mountains for an intensive Treat Wolfdogs Academy (TWA) workshop to explore the possibilities of modern training. Poniklá will once again become a place where we bridge the gap between competitive dog sports, specific work with Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs, and everyday life with a family dog. The common denominator is a system that awakens in the dog a desire to work voluntarily, joyfully, and with maximum focus.

Why choose Poniklá in April?

This workshop is not for those looking for shortcuts or mechanical recipes for obedience. It is designed for handlers who want to understand their dog. We utilize procedures respected by the world’s top training elite. The April climate in the Giant Mountains provides ideal conditions for the high cognitive load we will dedicate ourselves to over the course of three days.

Training Modules: What will we address in Poniklá?

Building Inner Motivation: How to replace external pressure with the dog’s internal desire to cooperate? We will learn to work with rewards so they become fuel for performance, not a bribe.

Technical Precision for Sport Teams: We will focus on the details that decide points at trials – speed of reaction, positions, and focused heeling in busy environments.

Specifics of Training the CSV: Motivation for an Efficiency-Oriented Mind. Understand why mechanical drilling fails with the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog and how to use their genetic makeup, focused on endurance and alertness, to your advantage. We will show you how to turn training into a logical challenge (Solving the puzzle), where the dog, thanks to the NePoPo® system, actively seeks the path to success and works with dedication and passion.

Stress and Emotion Management: Training takes place at both ends of the leash. You will learn how your own mood and body signals affect the dog’s ability to learn and how to create a safe environment for progress.

NePoPo® Philosophy in Practice: Understand how to set up a clear communication system in training and utilize internal motivation so that the dog works with passion and commitment (Heart and Soul).

Shaping Technique: You will teach the dog to think actively and seek solutions, thereby supporting the development of cognitive functions, the ability to learn, and a natural increase in self-confidence.

Working with Criteria: We will explain how to break down complex exercises into clear steps leading to fast and lasting success. You will gain a feel for gradually increasing demands so that the dog always knows exactly what to do at each stage of learning, and training proceeds without unnecessary frustration.

Location and Facilities: Comfort for Learning

Accommodation at Hotel Krakonošovo Zátiší ensures you can dedicate all your energy to training. Dogs are welcome here, and the quiet surroundings of the hotel are strategically chosen to allow a smooth transition from theoretical blocks to practical exercise on the field.

Quality and depth of training in the NePoPo® system are our priority. Therefore, we conduct the workshop in Poniklá in a tight, intimate setting, which allows us to dedicate individual attention and precise real-time feedback to each team. This boutique format is a guarantee that you will gain maximum knowledge and practical skills without compromise.
